Hello and welcome

Hello and welcome to Tigley Textiles, thank you for popping by.

I am Julie Brand, a designer and tutor of hand embroidery, machine embroidery and applique,  based in a little village near Pershore in Worcestershire.

I stitch with lace and vintage fabrics, floral patterns and pretty prints. All of my materials are lovingly selected, often recycled and given a new lease of life. I prefer to work with preloved fabric, as it already has a story to tell.

I run creative textile  workshops, where I love to share with you the techniques that I use. From my cosy garden studio I will guide you through each process of making your own  indivdiual items that you’ll cherish forever.

Please spend some time looking at the workshops page.  If interested, you can complete the enquiry form on the home page and I will get back to you shortly. If you would like to keep updated with my comings and goings, please subscribe to my monthly newsletter.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon,

Julie has rekindled my love of textiles, colour and embroidery.

Ruth (workshop participant)

Absolutely loved this! I am hereby completely addicted, and need to retire off into the sunset doing only this for the rest of my days.
