This delightful embroidered wall hanging is a joy to make and will cheer up any room. Filled with those memories of lazy Summers- flowers, birds, blossom trees, and a bird house. The only thing it hasn’t got is the sound of the birdsong, but if you listen really hard, I’m sure you’ll hear it! A reminder in bleaker days that sunshine will soon be waking up the wildlife and flowers and is just around the corner.
The kit includes: beautiful Rose and Hubble background fabric; wadding or felt; gorgeous cotton/linen background for the stitching; 4 full DMC skeins of thread; needles; templates; buttons; applique fabrics; clear photographs and fully illustrated detailed instructions.
It is slightly larger than A4 size when finished, so 34cm x 25cm (13.5″ x 9.75″).
It comes in 2 colour choices, blues or reds and an illustrated Tigley stitch guide is included to help with the 12 different embroidery stitches.
It could be hung on a wire hanger, an old wooden knitting needle or a piece of dowling. It could also be framed or stitched into a quilt or cushion cover. Endless possibilities!
