Prior to the workshop you will be sent a pack of materials which will include everything you need to stitch your piece- background fabric, embroidery threads and materials for applique, Please book in plenty of time for materials to be posted to you.
You choose your background colour– just add a note to your order form to request. and Julie will do her best to accommodate colour preferences.
For the workshop you will need basic sewing equipment and a transfer pen.
During the workshops, each stage will include several demonstrations. We will work on the embroidered dragonfly first, then the dandelion head then the cowslip flowers and the foliage at the base of the design. You will be shown many examples of different designs that you may like to try another time. You choose your design and layout and embroidered flowers.
