Description
This workshop is for those of you who would like to machine embroider your own designs but don’t know where to start.
Julie will demystify the design process. You will look at illustrations, draw a stylised version then select appropriate fabrics to replicate them using your machine.
You will need to bring your own sewing machine. You must be able to drop the feed (or can cover the teeth with a plate) and have an embroidery foot. Just bring yourself and your creative juices. At the end of the day you will take away a A6 sketchbook with some drawn designs that have been translated into stitch and fabric and a head full of ideas of how you could continue at home. This workshop is suitable for those who have dabbled with machine embroidery and have some prior knowledge but would like a bit more confidence to create designs at home.
